Hot Toys Lets There Be Carnage With Cletus Kasady’s Alter-Ego
Don’t call this Cletus a slack-jawed yokel. In fact, don’t call him anything. There won’t be time to say a word before he slays again. Cletus Kasady, better known as Carnage, unleashes all his might in the new Venom sequel. But of course Hot Toys captured the moment, reproducing the alien symbiote spawn’s fusion with a serial killer in faithful plastic. The figure technically comes in 1/6 scale, but given Carnage’s ability to change size in the movie, that may need clarification. The actual size of this Carnage approaches 17 inches. Which is taller than their movie Venom figure.
Speaking of which, buy the deluxe version of this Carnage and score a Venom bust, with removable Tom Hardy “half-mask” head that fits on the prior figure. No Woody Harrelson likeness comes with Carnage, but maybe that will arrive with the next film.
Here’s the official description: “Expertly crafted based on the screen appearance of Carnage from Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the highly-accurate figure measures approximately 43cm tall displays a great level of detailed sculpting, specially on the texture of skin, fearsome fanged mouth and tongue. The 1/6th scale figure introduces a body painted with crimson red and black webbing; two newly developed head sculpts featuring a grinning head sculpt, and a head sculpt with fanged mouth and three interchangeable protruding tongues; monstrous weapons and accessories including attacking claws, sickle, sword, also a number of symbiote tentacles sprouting from its back with different styles of interchangeable symbiote parts; and a figure stand.”
Price TBD as of this writing, but it won’t come cheap. But with a sculpt this elaborate, this large, who would expect it to? Take a look through the gallery below for more images.
