David Helps Open Minds In New Legion Season 3 Featurette
FX has released an extended featurette for the upcoming third and final season of Legion including new footage from the series and interviews with the cast. After the events of Season 2, David Haller has become some type of cult leader, and thanks to the indispensable help of the series newcomer Switch, he can travel back in time. Based on the Marvel Comics by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz, Legion follows the story of David Haller (Dan Stevens). Haller once believed he was schizophrenic, but later discovered he might be the most powerful mutant in the world. Eventually, with help from a team of specialists, David harnessed his unique abilities and learned that a malicious parasite haunted him. Now, David is all that stands in the way of Amahl Farouk (Navid Negahban) attaining infinite and world-ending power.
The series stars Dan Stevens, Rachel Keller, Aubrey Plaza, Bill Irwin, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, Katie Aselton, Jean Smart, Navid Negahban, as well as Jemaine Clement and Hamish Linklater.
Additionally, Noah Hawley serves as Executive Producer, along with John Cameron, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. The series is the latest project from Hawley and Cameron, of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning FX anthology series Fargo. FX Productions and Marvel Television produce Legion, with FXP handling the physical production.
Legion’s third and final season premieres on June 24 on FX.
