Wonder Woman 1984 star Connie Nielsen has said that she would love to do a prequel spin-off film based around her character.
2017’s Wonder Woman shocked everyone with just how good it was, given the mixed reception of previous DCEU films like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. This quickly generated talks among the fans of a prequel spin-off film that would focus on the two characters and Connie Nielson seems to be on board.
Connie Nielson is currently set to reprise her role as Queen Hippolyta in Wonder Woman 1984. Despite a delay in the film due to coronavirus concerns, the marketing for the film has not relented. During a recent interview with Coming Soon.net, the Wonder Woman 1984 star was tight-lipped about the potential spin-off. Connie Nielsen did say that she and her fellow cast members “would love to, we would love to do that.” However, she would not say whether or not there was a Wonder Woman spin-off in active development.
