He didn’t see that coming.
A new concept design sees Aaron Taylor-Johnson returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as his original version of Quicksilver for WandaVision.
WandaVision has so far proved to be one of the most fascinating projects in the MCU as it plays with expectations of both comic book fans and general audiences by subverting the sitcom genre. Fans were shocked to see Evan Peters’ version of Quicksilver come into the fold after his appearance in the X-Men movies for Fox, with many theorizing that he’ll secretly be a villain in disguise. Other fans have wondered if Aaron Taylor-Johnson will also reprise his role in a future episode.
While we saw Evan Peters don a Halloween costume version of the classic Quicksilver suit, a new fan design puts Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Pietro in an impressive outfit for a potential WandaVision return. The art from ‘subi.ozil’ on Instagram gives Johnson a dark blue suit with the silver lightning bolt across his chest in a design which would look perfect next to the rest of the Avengers.
Do you think Aaron Taylor-Johnson will come back to play Quicksilver for WandaVision? How do you think the series will end?
