Robert Pattinson is set to be the next actor to don the iconic costume and play the Dark Knight in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. Robert Pattinson is currently filming Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, but the actor is also expected to get in Batman shape before filming begins early next year in the UK. With the film showing off a new Batman, many fans have imagined how Robert Pattinson will look in the batsuit and what kind of style it will be. Awesome new fan art from artist Bryan Ward shows what could be our best depiction yet. You can check out the awesome image below!

Plot details for the project are currently under wraps, though the film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that reportedly includes Catwoman, the Penguin, and the Riddler. The Matt Reeves film will follow the DC superhero during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous Batman Films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader.

Aside from Matt Reeves’ The Batman, Warner Bros. and DC Films are currently developing a number of projects based on the company’s line-up of heroes. These projects include The Flash, Black Adam, Supergirl, Blue Beetle, Plastic Man, Nightwing, Green Lantern Corps, New Gods, Lobo, Aquaman and Shazam! sequels, and The Trench.

The Batman will be released in theaters on June 25, 2021.

Batman Villains Who Deserve A Chance On The Big Screen

Batman Villains DC ComicsBatman’s been on the big screen a handful of times, but he still has so many enemies who’ve never been in a movie. I love the Joker, but man-oh-man am I tired of seeing him. Batman’s got one of the most impressive, deep rogue galleries in all of comics, and I think it’s time more of them were given the love they deserve!

Some of these characters might have been in The Lego Batman Movie (if Kite-Man was, anyone could have been) but that doesn’t really count as an introduction. Look at how well-known someone like Slipknot is now thanks to Suicide Squad. Well, all these people on the list are way better than Slipknot, and should be seen taking on a member of the Bat-Family on the big screen soon.
