‘Justice League’: Ezra Miller’s The Flash Takes Center Stage In New Teaser

Zack Snyder has shared a new Justice League teaser trailer focusing on Ezra Miller’s The Flash.

The Flash takes center stage in the latest teaser trailer for the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League, which is set to premiere on the WarnerMedia streaming service HBO Max in eleven days. Snyder shared the Barry Allen-centric teaser on his official Twitter page along with a character poster showing Ezra Miller suited up and ready for action. Check them out below.

The latest Justice League sneak peek is light on fresh footage but it does offer fans an extended look at Barry Allen saving Iris West (played by Kiersey Clemons) and entering the Speed Force, a moment first shown in the film’s trailer. Miller is set to reprise his role as Barry Allen in The Flash’s first cinematic solo outing, which recently added Sasha Calle as Supergirl.

Zack Snyder is currently working on his Justice League cut for HBO Max. Previously, in a comment on Instagram, Justice League stunt performer Nick McKinless revealed that there was apparently an entire fight sequence between Ares and a younger Darkseid when he first invaded Earth in the Zack Snyder Cut. The actor was cast as Ares for the sequence and trained for four months to get in proper shape for the role. However, McKinless was not credited in the thetrical cut of the movie.

Darkseid almost played a larger role in Zack Snyder’s Justice League and subsequent DC Extended Universe films. However, after Joss Whedon assumed directorial duties during post-production and oversaw extensive re-shoots for Justice League, Darkseid was removed from the theatrical cut and Warner Bros. reassessed their plans for future DCEU films following the underwhelming reviews and box office gross of the film. Snyder’s original 5 movie-arc for the DCEU was also said to include events like the murder of Lois Lane and of half the Justice League, with Darkseid taking control of the heartbroken Superman with the Anti-Life Equation.

Here is the official synopsis for the Zack Snyder cut:

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut is expected to hit WarnerMedia’s HBO Max on March 18, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Ezra Miller’s The Flash and the Zack Snyder Cut, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
