Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing an all-new foe: The Cheetah. Principal photography is underway on Warner Bros. Pictures’ follow up to the Super Hero’s first outing, last summer’s record-breaking “Wonder Woman,” which took in $822 million at the worldwide box office. “Wonder Woman 1984” will also be helmed by acclaimed director Patty Jenkins, and star Gal Gadot in the title role. As previously announced, the film also stars Kristen Wiig in the role of the Super-Villain The Cheetah, as well as Pedro Pascal. And Chris Pine returns as Steve Trevor. Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Patty Jenkins, Stephen Jones and Gal Gadot are producing the film. Rebecca Roven Oakley, Richard Suckle, Wesley Coller, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada are the executive producers.

Diana in Action
A previously seen shot of Diana (Gal Gadot) taking out some bad guys with her Lasso of Truth. It’s been confirmed that this will be her primary weapon in Wonder Woman 1984, as the sword she wielded in the first film was deemed too violent.
Diana and Steve Reunited
This is a screenshot from the most recent trailer, as Diana and her long-lost love Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) take to the skies.
A not terribly exciting glimpse of a shopping mall. We know this will be the location for one of the movie’s first set pieces.
How Steve Trevor returns has yet to be confirmed, but if a recent plot leak does turn out to be accurate, fans may not be too happy with the explanation.
Wonder Woman #2
Another shot of Wondy handily incapacitating a pair of goons.
Maxwell Lord and Barbara Minerva
The villains of the piece. Pedro Pascal plays Maxwell Lord, who seemingly inherits the power to grant someone’s greatest desire. Kristen Wiig portrays Barbara Minerva, who starts out as Diana’s friend before transforming into Cheetah.
